Work while you study

 

Students on a student visa can work while studying in Australia. During semester, you can work up to 20 hours per week and during vacation you can work full time. Many colleges and universities offer a student employment service to help you find work.

Study Costs

  • Diploma/Certificate $6,000 -$15,000

  • Bachelor degree: A$10,000–A$13,500 a year (based on arts, accounting, business and management, and at the higher range, on law courses)

  • Laboratory-based bachelor degree: A$11,000–A$20,000 a year (based on science and engineering courses)

  • Graduate certificate and graduate diploma: A$9,000–A$16,000 a year

  • Masters and doctoral degrees: A$11,000–A$18,500 a year¹

Please note that course fees can vary widely depending on the course and location chosen and should always be sourced from the relevant TAFE institute.
